The Goddess Isis
Artist
Don Perino

Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
This is an experimental piece that evolved over a period of several months. . The composition and pose are based on a charcoal sketch of a live model. The finished work is, however, largely from imagination. Everything from the face to the hieroglyphic-like symbols are made up. I drew inspiration from some of the fantastic figure paintings of Gustav Klimt.

Fantastic Painting.....The relaxed background contrasts beautifully with this strong woman

If a panther could reincarnate into a woman this is how she would look. Egyptian motif an excellent choice to surround her in. Her beauty is obvious and her expression speaks to me of memories and decisions yet to be made. Beautiful and meaningful art!
